Want an easy way to show your support for your community and the United Way while driving new customers to your business? If so, then step right up to find out more about the Live United Donor Discount Card and how you can LIVE UNITED.
Program Overview:
Live United Donor Discount Card (DDC) recipient requirements:
- donate at least $144 annual ($12/month).
- donation must be to the Community Investment Fund.
- provide the United Way with mailing address.
We are predicting a minimum of 3,000 DCC members this year.
Basic Merchant Information:
- Merchants must offer a discount or coupon that will be available to all DDC members that must be valid through December 31, 2010.
- Get “free” marketing to thousands of donors.
- Merchants must sign the Participation Agreement which will state the exact discount offer.
- Suggested offer is a 10% discount off of all or best selling products or services.
- Merchants will receive a sign or window cling that they must display in their store to let donors know that there is a discount available at that location. UWVFC will provide the signage.
- Merchants and their discount details will be listed on our website for members to view and may be also listed on promotional materials.
- Businesses who wish to have their logo or banner ad also listed on the site will need to pay a $50 advertisement fee and send the appropriate artwork to celkins@unitedwayvfc.org The banner/logo size shall not exceed 180 x 150 pixels.
- We also offer an online sponsorship for $100 which will feature your advertisement above the regular listings, include a larger version of your logo and link to your website.
- One business per week may also be promoted via social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook.
