Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida, Inc. - 17049

Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Central Florida & the Florida Gulf Coast, Inc. - 1679

Provides credit and comprehensive housing counseling, creditor repayment plans, and educational presentations.  FHA/HUD-approved counseling agency with certified credit and housing counselors.

Provides services to enhance the quality of life of senior citizens, enabling them to be self-sufficient and independent.

Creates a bond between police officers and community youth, especially those at risk, and promotes greater trust and understanding through athletic, academic, and cultural activities.

Domestic Abuse Council - 1685

Provides emergency shelter to victims of domestic violence and their children, transitional housing, support/education groups, family intervention program for the abusive partner, legal advocacy, victim advocacy, community education and professional training.

Provides and supports quality, comprehensive childcare services through assistance to children and families, childcare providers, and employers.  Low-income families may receive financial assistance to become self-sufficient.

The Homeless Assistance Corporation -

Delivers direct services to homeless families, children and individuals in Volusia and Flagler Counties. Its STAR (Shelter + Teamwork Achieves Results) Shelter provides housing for families with children and medically needy individuals and allows families to stay together within the shelter for up to six months.

Provides immediate temporary aid to residents who are indigent, elderly, or distressed by a crisis through counseling, temporary shelter, emergency services, and community referrals.

Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida - 62218

Collects and distributes millions of pounds of food and grocery products per year to local emergency food pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and other important nonprofit feeding programs.

Serenity House of Volusia - 17062

Provides a full range of services to indigent substance abusers with serious and complex disorders.

Social Service Council of the Jewish Federation - 1693

Provides limited financial assistance with rent and utilities, free food, clothing, furniture and household goods.  Also distributes free backpacks and school supplies to local children.
