The Community Foundation Grant Application Process
Every year, the Community Foundation has the opportunity--and the privilege--to make potentially life-altering differences in the lives of our community's residents. In some cases, Foundation grants make it possible for new nonprofit organizations to actualize their goals. At other times, the funds provided by the Foundation help established organizations initiate new programs and enhance existing services. Whatever the case, these grants carry out one of the most vital aspects of the Foundation's mission--they allow for our United Way to continue to care for our community far into the future.
Who Can Apply? The Community Foundation welcomes and will consider grant requests from qualified nonprofit 501(c)3 organizations which provide a significant level of service to residents of Volusia and/or Flagler Counties.
Each year the Foundation Advisory Board reserves the right to establish a unique statement of purpose for that specific grant year in order to remain responsive and proactive to community needs.
